The mission of HOSA is "to enhance the delivery of compassionate,
quality health care by providing opportunities for knowlegde, skills, and leadership development of all health occupations
education students, therefore, helping the student meet the needs of the health care community."
HOSA motto is "The hands of HOSA mold the health
of tomorrow."

The meaning behind the official emblem:
The circle represents the continuity of healthcare; the triangle
represents the three aspects of human well being: social, physical, and mental; and the hands signify the caring of each HOSA
member. The colors of HOSA--maroon, medical white, navy blue--are represented in the emblem.
